Checkout Nagarjuna’s upcoming films

King Nagarjuna seems to be busy with handful of films. The Yuvasamrat, who is presently busy with Rajanna in Vijayendra Prasad direction, is simultaneously allotting his dates to his biggest budget film of his career Damarukam, being directed by Srinivas Reddy and produced by Venkat of RR Movie Makers banner. While Rajanna will hit the big-screens in the end of September for Dussera, Damarukam might see the limelight for January, 2012 for Pongal.

Apart from these promising films, Nagarjuna has okayed another couple of films. Nag has given his nod to portray the role of Lord Sai Baba in a devotional film titled Shirdi Sai. The film will be directed by Raghavendra Rao, who gave the actor two devotional hits Annamayya and Sri Ramadasu. Shiridi Sai is progressing at fast pace and currently the music sittings are being done. Keeravani has already composed 3 songs for the film.

Next to this, Nagarjuna has accepted a new film with D. Siva Prasad Reddy on Kamakshi Kala Movie banner. A renowned director will wield the megaphone for this big budget films says the sources.

Pawan Kalyan, Vishnu’s film wraps up shoot in Pollachi

Pawan Kalyan’s undershoot film in the direction of Vishnuvardhan has completed its shoot in Pollachi. A song in the choreography of Dinesh and little talkie part has been canned on Pawan Kalyan and Sarah Jane Dias. The makers have also completed few comedy scenes on Power Star and Brahmanandam. The remaining part of this schedule will be shot in Karaikudi, Tamilnadu.

The film was earlier referred as Shadow and Kaali but the final title of the film will be announced on 2^nd September by the producers. Pawan Kalyan will be seen romancing two new ladies Sarah Jane Dias and Anjali Lavania in the film. Neelima and Shobu Yarlagadda are producing the film on the banner of Sanghamitra Arts and Arka Media jointly. Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music director.

Nagarjuna to act with Sneha in Rajanna

King Nagarjuna starrer Rajanna’s audio will hit the market in the early September. The latest reports say the film is packed with 14 songs in total including the bit songs. Mani Sharma has composed the music for the film.

The present schedule of the film is currently taking place in a specially erected set in Annapurna Studios and action episodes are being canned in the direction of Rajamouli. Rajanna’s story is based on the Telangana freedom struggle and has the backdrop of Razakar movement.

Sneha is playing the female lead in the film. Rajanna is being directed by Rajamouli’s father Vijayendra Prasad and produced by Nagarjuna on the banner Annapurna Studios.

Puri Jagannadh to direct Jr.NTR

Dashing director Puri Jagannadh and Young Tiger Jr.NTR has earlier teamed up for Andhrawala film. However, the film turned out to be a disaster at the Box-Office and the duo did not team up again. But, the latest buzz in the filmnagar says Puri Jagannadh is yet again wielding the megaphone with Jr.NTR in the lead.

While the other details of the cast and crew of the project are still under wraps NTR is as of now busy with his couple of undershoot films. The A1 Star is busy shooting simultaneously for Oosaravelli with Surender Reddy and Dammu with Boyapati Srinu.

Meanwhile, let’s wait for the official announcement of Jr.NTR and Puri Jagannadh combo.

Mandira back to workout, loving it!

Actress-anchor Mandira Bedi is loving every bit of being finally able to exercise, post pregnancy.

"40 days post delivery. Am officially allowed to exercise today... And I did! WHAT A FEELING!" Mandira posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.

Mandira, who is married to filmmaker Raj Kaushal, gave birth to a baby boy June 19. The couple have named him Vir.

Poorna Jagannathan new face of a jewellery brand

Actress Poorna Jagannathan, one who played a journalist in the hit adult comedy "Delhi Belly", has been named the brand ambassador for jewellery brand Bracialeto.

"I'm excited to be associated with a finely crafted brand like Bracialeto. I love its uniqueness and that it can be tailored to suit your personality," said Poorna, who recently shot an ad campaign for the brand.

Bracialeto provides a wide range of international jewellery charms and Murano glass beads. The brand comprises a wide range of bracelets, neck pieces, rings and earrings all made of 92.5 sterling silver and handmade Murano beads.

RGV's 'Shabri' to release after five years on Aug 26

Finally Ram Gopal Varma is confident to share the story of a female as told in "Shabri". The film, which was completed about five years ago, will hit the theatres Aug 26.

The Isha Koppikar, Raj Arjun and Pradip Rawat starrer is about how a simple woman from a Mumbai slum ends up as a matka (gambling) kingpin and threatens the corridors of power.

Co-produced by Reliance Entertainment, the film has been written and directed by Lalit Marathe.

"I feel like a dog, who will have his Friday!" said Marathe in a statement.

It was reported that Varma was apprehensive in releasing the film earlier because of the subject and that's why the film did not release for so many years.

However, now the producer feels more confident about releasing it.

Gautham Menon & Vijay film titled Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru

A few hours back we have come up with the audio release date of Vijay’s Velayudham and now we are back with yet another big news for Vijay fans out there.

This is going to be the combination of mass and class; we mean to say the combo of Gautham Vasudev Menon and our very own Ilayathalapathy Vijay, its great to visualize right. This is said to be the biggest happening of the year in Kollywood and in fact Gautham Menon is waiting to work with Vijay from a very long time.  Today all main newspapers have published the ads of Photon Kathaas Productions Ilayathalapathy Vijay in Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru, a Gautham Vasudev Menon film.

Do you guys know the tagline of  Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru, Here it goes- Mission 1: New York City.

The film will move on floors during summer of 2012, and will probably release for Pongal 2013. When Gautham narrated one liner teaser script of the film to Vijay, the actor has immediately given his nod. Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru is a slick action packed entertainer and by seeing the tagline we can expect that the film shoot might take place in New York.

Though Gautham Menon has not announced the cast and crew of the film but it is expected that his regular crew like AR Rahman for music, Manoj Paramahamsa for cinematographer, Rajeevan for art direction, Antony for editing and others will be assigned their respective duties.

Kamal Haasan to play negative role in Vishwaroopam

Is Kamal Haasan playing a negative role in Vishwaroopam?

Sources in the tinsel town reveal that Kamal will be donning a negative role in Vishwaroopam. Don’t get surprised it was Kamal who was waiting to play negative role from long time and the opportunity knocked in the form of Vishwaroopam. He already has done such role earlier in the film Sigappu Rojakkal.

Recently Kamal has short listed some exotic locales in US, Canada and European countries for the film’s shoot.  He is busy in talks with some leading heroines in Bollywood but however nothing has been finalized. Latest we hear is that Priya Anand of Nootrenbadhu fame is going to take her place as a second heroine in the film.  Vishwaroopam’s principle photography starts by the mid of August. Kamal has planned for an initial 45 day schedule which will start with the scenes having Kamal and other supporting actors who are from Bollywood.

The film is Kamal's costliest production as the budget of the film is touted around Rs 100 Cr.

The heroine of the film will be confirmed before he departures to abroad for the shoot.

Amala Paul to act with Dhanush

Is Amala Paul the female lead in Aishwarya Dhanush directed film?

Latest reports state that upcoming actress of Tamil cinema Amala Paul might be signed as the female lead in Aishwarya Dhanush directorial venture. As of now there is no confirmation on this but the actress revealed to a section of media that she was contacted for this film. However Amala is tightlipped on this and is unwilling to talk about on this front.

Aishwarya and Dhanush are busy with the pre production works of the film and it is expected that the couple will soon come out with the details regarding the film.  Amala has shot to fame with Mynaa and received rave reviews for her performance. Later she also acted in Vikram starrer Deiva Thirumagal. The actress is now showered with offers in Tamil and as well as Malayalam.

Before jumping into conclusions let us wait for the official confirmation either from Aishwarya or from Dhanush.

Thala’s most talked about film till date Mankatha comes up with more info your way. According to the close sources, Mankatha is a fast-paced story with a stiff script.

Thala plays the role of a stylish and urbane thief who plans his moves in a fail-safe way. Arjun plays the role of a cop who unravels any case which he tackles.  He once gets a chance to unravel the plan chalked out by Ajith and the situation gets serious. The chase starts between Ajith and Arjun with many twists and twirls which forms an interesting climax. One of the highlight of the film is the interval bang. Just ten minutes before the interval the episode is shot in a mind blowing way where it will be remembered for many years.

Well with all these interesting and outstanding aspects Mankatha surely deserves a pat to from the audience.
