Rana Daggubati has joined the sets of his second Hindi film Department in Mumbai to be directed by Ram Gopal Varma from Tuesday, 2nd August. This Jr.Daggubati will be seen as a cop in the film.
The actor who debuted in Tollywood with Leader has made his mark in Bollywood with Dum Maro Dum also starring Abhishek Bachchan.Though Dum Maro Dum did not do well at the Bollywood Box-Office, Rana has earned good name with the debut. Department also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. Rana has commenced Department shoot immediately after wrapping up the major part of his undershoot Telugu flick Naa Ishtam with Genelia as her costar in the direction of Prakash Tholeti. Paruchuri Kireeti is producing Naa Ishtam on United Movies banner.
