Artist performances: NTR Junior has come up with sincere performance and he has given good energy to his character. Though he looks a bit shabby, he covers that with his body language, dance, dialogues etc. Tamannah might disappoint those who are expecting some oomph show from her. But she reveals the actress inside her. Of course, it is not that impressive. Prakash Raj is seen in this role many times so nothing different from him. Payal Ghosh got a good opportunity and she has delivered. Jayaprakash Reddy and Raghu Babu made things light with their comedy. Tanikella, Sayaji Shinde, Shaam, Rehman came for one or two scenes. Murali Sharma was grossly underutilized. The others didn't have much to do.
Plus points: NTR's performanceThree songsNTR DanceComedy track during first halfTechnical valuesThe twists in plot
Minus points: Second halfOverdose of melodrama in flashbackRoutine climax fightWrong timing of songs
Analysis: The film is being touted as the competitor to 'Dookudu' and the expectations were to cross Dookudu. However, it must be said that despite the hype and the brand power, the film may not really strike that big. Yes, there are some really interesting twists which keeps the audience guessing but then the momentum which was there in the first half goes missing during the second half. If only the flashback episode was woven well with gripping depth and emotion, the film would have been a bumper blockbuster. Even otherwise, the film has enough material to land in the profit zone. At the box office, this should be a commercial success.
Verdict: Watch it once!!
