If there is one reason why being an Indian woman is a blessing, it is because of the culture and tradition. And the other reason why we ladies must be thankful to god is for the creation of Saree and giving it exclusively for the Indian ladies to wear. While that has become a synonym for representing us, there are many advantages of wearing a saree. On a naughty note, if the saree is tied below the navel, the impact it creates on the opposite gender needs no introduction.
But then, there is also a healthy reason behind it. Most of the women become cautious about their belly and generally saree hides many figure problems. So, while tying the saree below the navel is no doubt an appealing visual treat to the men, it also makes us realize how sexy and health conscious we are. Hence, this low waist concept exposes tummy and women become cautious by noticing the tyres around the tummy.
To be frank, there are many of us who wish to reveal their beauty by tying Saree in an attractive way but if our figure is not supporting then there is nothing we can do. But when we see those lovely actresses, models and other health conscious ladies having their sarees way below their navel, it sends pangs of jealousy inside us. In a way, that challenges us to work on our own figure and have the luxury of tying the knot below the navel.
My theory might sound a bit unusual but trust me, there is a fair amount of truth in it. Being a woman, I know how it feels when I am unable to express my beauty. It is not about grabbing attention, it is about feeling self-confident about myself and feel proud about being a woman who can exude grace with beauty. And with a blessing like Saree for us, if only we focus on maintaining our figure then the ‘below navel’ concept sure works in a novel way to motivate us.
